Terms healthy house

in fact whether the requirements for our homes can be regarded as a healthy house? following a few requirements that must be met

1. Floor

Currently, there are various types of floors. Floor of the house of cement or tiles, kermik, or enough common ground is compacted. An important requirement here is not dusty in the dry season and not muddy in the rainy season. The floor is wet and dusty is a nest of diseases.
2. Roof
The roof tiles are common in both urban and rural. In addition to the roof tiles are suitable for tropical regions can also be reached by the community and even society can create your own. However, many rural communities who can not afford to do so then the roof of tassel or coconut leaf leaves can be preserved. Zinc or asbestos roofs are not suitable for rural homes, while expensive also generate heat in the house.
3. Ventilation
Ventilation house has many functions. The first function is to keep the air flow inside the house was still fresh. This means the balance of O2 required by the occupants of the house is maintained. Lack of ventilation will cause a lack of O2 in the house which means that the CO2 levels are toxic for the residents to be increased. In addition, inadequate ventilation will cause the air humidity in the room go up because there is a process of evaporation and absorption of fluids from the skin.
Humidity will be a good medium for bacterial pathogens (disease-causing bacteria). The second function is to liberate rather than venting the air space of the bacteria, especially pathogenic bacteria because there always occurs the air flow constant. The bacteria are carried by air will always flow. Another function is to keep the indoor home always remained in the moisture (humidity) is optimum.
There are 2 kinds of ventilation, namely:

* Natural ventilation, where air flow in the room occurs naturally via windows, doors, vents, holes in walls and so forth. On the other hand natural ventilation is not beneficial because it is also the entrance of mosquitoes and other insects into the house. For that there must be other efforts to protect us from mosquito bites.

* Artificial ventilation, ie by using special tools to deliver the air terebut, such as fans and air suction machine. But obviously this tool does not match the condition of the house in the countryside. It should be noted here that the manufacture of ventilation systems must be maintained so that air does not stagnate or reverse again, must flow. That is in the room there should be a house entrance and exit of air.

4. Light
Healthy home requires a fairly light, not less and not too much. Lack of light that comes into the room house, especially sunlight in addition to less convenient, is also a medium or a good place to live and growing the seeds of disease. Conversely too much light in the house will cause glare and can ultimately damage the eye.
The light can be divided into 2, namely:

* The light of nature, namely the sun. This light is very important because it can kill pathogenic bacteria in the home, such as tuberculosis bacillus. Therefore, a healthy house must have enough light entrance. Entrance should be light (window) width of at least 15-20% of floor area contained in the room of the house.

It should be noted in the labored to create a window to direct sunlight into the room, not obstructed by other buildings. The function of the window here as well as ventilation as well as the entrance of light. Location of window placement must also be considered and cultivated for a long sunlight shining on the floor (not illuminate the wall). Natural light entrance is also cultivated with glass tile.

* Artificial light which uses a light source that is not natural, such as kerosene lamps, electrical, fire and so forth.

5. Home Building Size
Healthy home building floor area should be enough for occupants in it, meaning the building floor area shall be adjusted by the number of occupants. Building area is not proportional to the number of inhabitants will cause perjubelan (overcrowded). This unfavorable impact on kesehaan residents, because in addition to causing a lack of O2 consumption also when one family member affected by infectious diseases, will easily spread to other family members.
6. The facilities at the Health House
A healthy house must have the following facilities:

* The provision of adequate clean water,

* Disposal of feces,

* Disposal of waste water (water used),

* Disposal of waste,

* Kitchen facilities,

* Space gather family,

* For a more suitable house in a village of the porch (front or back porch).

In addition to these facilities, there are other facilities that need to be held separately for rural homes is a cattle pen. Because cattle are a part of life for farmers, the cattle are sometimes placed in the home. This is not healthy because of livestock is sometimes a source of disease as well. It should, for the sake of health, livestock must be separate from the residence or be made a separate cage.
